Bob Blackwell

Bob Blackwell is a founding partner of Blackwell, Blackburn, Herring & Singer, LLP. Prior to founding the firm, Bob practiced at Fulbright & Jaworski, LLP, and at a mid-sized firm located in North Dallas. He represents a broad range of clients in complex commercial and business disputes, healthcare litigation, medical device litigation, real estate litigation, receivership actions and employment litigation.
Bob also serves as outside counsel for several small and mid-sized businesses. In 2006, D Magazine recognized Bob as one of the "Best Lawyers Under 40 in Dallas."

Nate Blackburn is a founding partner of Blackwell, Blackburn, Herring & Singer, LLP. Prior to founding the firm, Nate practiced as a corporate and real estate transactions attorney at firms in Phoenix, Arizona, and Dallas, Texas.
Nate assists clients with matters relating to real estate purchases and sales, development, title review, financing and leasing, as well as corporate transactions including formation, borrowing and lending, asset sales, and dissolution. He represents local and national real estate developers, lenders, and investors on a range of projects including apartments and condominiums, industrial, office, multi-family residential, retail, and shopping centers.

Thomas Cason

Tom Cason is a partner at Blackwell, Blackburn, Herring & Singer, LLP. Tom has more than a decade of experience as a corporate attorney, having practiced in capital markets and mergers and acquisitions for Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP and Vinson & Elkins LLP before becoming in-house counsel to an alternative asset manager with $8 billion in AUM. At Blackwell, Tom continues to represent clients in equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, recapitalizations and other corporate transactions. Tom also serves as “outside general counsel,” providing clients with legal support for day-to-day operational needs as well as strategic initiatives.

Walt Herring

Walter (Walt) A. Herring is a partner at Blackwell, Blackburn, Herring & Singer, LLP specializing in complex litigation/dispute resolution.
Walt has over 30 years of litigation experience as a partner in a large national/international law firm. His experience includes considerable first chair trial experience (multiple jury and non-jury trials) in state and federal courts throughout Texas as well as arbitration and other dispute resolution methods/techniques.
Walt’s trial practice focuses primarily on complex commercial litigation in the healthcare, energy, real estate, securities, and banking industries. He has handled a large number of defense matters including personal injury, premises liability, malpractice, mass tort and products liability cases. Walt also has significant healthcare/peer review experience.
Walt is regularly selected by his peers as a Texas Super Lawyer and Best Lawyer in America. He is active in a number of community organizations and regularly works with the Dallas Volunteer Lawyers and the Criminal Justice Panel for the Northern District of Texas

Rebecca Singer

Rebecca Siegel Singer is Of Counsel with Blackwell, Blackburn, Herring & Singer, LLP. Ms. Singer practices a full range of employment and labor law, including counseling clients on personnel policies and problems in order to prevent potential or resolve existing legal issues; representing clients in EEOC and other federal and state law administrative charges; litigating state and federal cases, including appeals; and representing clients in mediation and arbitration.
Ms. Singer represents employers in ADA, ADEA, Title VII, FMLA and other civil rights charges and lawsuits; OFCCP, FLSA, OSHA, WARN and other DOL-related compliance efforts and investigations; and unemployment and other claims under Texas and other state laws.
Ms. Singer works with clients to develop and implement policies and procedures regarding all phases of the employment process, such as absences and leave, bonus and wage disputes, and individual terminations and mass layoffs. She also conducts managerial and staff training.

Tucker’s expertise includes purchases and sales, development, financing, leasing and title review. He represents local and national real estate developers, lenders and investors on a range of project types, including industrial, office, multifamily, retail and shopping centers.
Tucker brings to the firm several years of experience working for a well-regarded Dallas, Texas commercial real estate developer in the acquisition, site selection, development, leasing and financing of office and industrial assets. Immediately prior to joining the firm, he practiced for several years in the commercial mortgage lending area, representing various financial institutions across the country in the placement and servicing of securitized real-estate debt.
